QuickMap Layers are set to become visible at certain scales. If you require only the Layers which are visible at a certain scale to be visible when you adjust the scale, these layers can be locked prior to zooming in or out.
In the example below Locking the Layer will retain the layers as they are when zooming out from a scale of 1:7000 to 1:16000 so as to be able to read the road system.
