When trying to install Quickmap from a network drive, you may get this error:

Quickmap Install Failed

Unable to process installer configuration file: An error
occurred loading a configuration file: The user name or
password is incorrect.
(network drive location\QMap\QuickmapSetup.config)

This is likely because the elevated administrator account does not have permission to the network drive.

To fix this, first ensure that you are just running the installer as a standard user (rather than right clicking and running as administrator). If that fails, copy the install files to C:\Temp on the machine you are installing Quickmap to and try again. You may have to specify the data directory after installing Quickmap.
