When trying to download the latest data via the Quickmap Data Download Manager, you may get this error:
Download verification failed
File size mismatch. File hash mismatch.
Although this can be a problem with the download process (such as your antivirus changing the file or the download being corrupted), a problem with Quickmap’s server in which the hash file has not been created correctly can also create a file size / hash mismatch. Because of this, it’s worthwhile contacting Quickmap to see if regenerating the hash file on the server fixes the problem before exploring other troubleshooting options – having Quickmap staff try to download the file themselves can also help to confirm if the problem is at the server end.
The hash file can be regenerated by restarting the CSL Caching service on the server.
