When installing Quickmap, you may get this error:

Failed(2) to set data directory \\server\folder\

This happens when you run the installation under a user account that doesn’t have the permission to save to the following registry location:

HKEY_CLASS_ROOT\Quickmap\Config\Datadir

To fix this, give the user permission to write to that registry location, or rerun the installer as a user who does have permission, such as the Administrator account.
