How To Move QuickMap Boundaries To Fit Better Over Google Earth Photos

Sometimes the Quickmap layers do not overlay the Google Earth photo’s perfectly. In this case, it is necessary to edit the QuickMap layer within Google Earth to shift it into the correct position.

To do this, right click on the QuickMap Layer called QuickMap 2 Google Earth listed on the left hand side of Google Earth, and choose Edit from the menu. Adjust the transparency using the scrollbar, then move the Quickmap layer by left clicking and dragging on the green cross. When you are happy with the position, click the OK button. You can also rotate or resize the image by dragging the green crosses at the edge of the image, but this is not normally necessary.
