In Quickmap v8 each user gets their own Edit layer, even if they work from the same PC. It’s a good idea to leave this as is and create a (new) separate layer that is stored in a shared location if you want to share data, but if you need to make the Edit layer shared anyway, you can do so by editing the Quickmap.mdb file in My Documents (for each user) so the record in the QDataSource table whose QLabel column is called “Custom”. You need to change the QSource column to reference [DATADIR] instead of [APPDIR]. Alternatively you can specify a set path that stores the Custom.MDB in a shared location. After which, you will have to move a copy of Custom.MDB to the specified location to share it with the other users.
