Garmin GPS unit’s allow you to upload custom maps via Garmin’s MapSource software, via several file formats. To Upload Quickmap maps into a Garmin, you need to export the map from Quickmap as a DXF file (In Quickmap, click File -> Export, then select DXF format, then the location to export the file, then click OK). Once you have your DXF file, you’ll need to download a file converter from the internet to convert the DXF into a GPX file that Garmin MapSource can understand. Once you have your GPX file, you can then add that to MapSource, and then Import the files from MapSource to your Garmin GPS.
