When installing or updating Quickmap, the installer may get stuck / hang on this message:

Please wait while setup installs Quickmap

This is because Windows has detected that you are trying to install a program and don’t have permission. There will be a Windows popup that has failed to pop-up, which is hanging the Quickmap install.

To fix this, click the flashing Windows Shield icon in the Task Bar at the bottom of the screen, enter your administrator logon details (if required) and allow the installation. After this, Quickmap should no longer be stuck waiting while the setup installs.
