Import using Address Geocoding

Top  Previous  Next

By pre processing the data you would be able to get a better match when importing data using the Address Geocoding function.  eg using street type abbreviations such as

Rd

St

Ave

Dr

Cres

Tce

NOTE:  QuickMap uses “Place” not “Pl”

It is also possible to validate the spelling of road names and districts by comparing these to the QuickMap data within the QMap\Data\Legal\north_address.mdb

Click on File, Import and choose the Import Wizard, OK
