If the Prompt to Save View Extent on Exit under the View Menu is ticked, you will be given the option to open QuickMap at the same screen location from when QuickMap is closed.
Save As Default View Extent will always open QuickMap at this Screen Extent unless you have chosen to Save a different Screen Extent on Exit.
