When trying to install or update Quickmap data, you may get this error:

Quickmap Data Setup Failed

The operation being requested was not performed because
the user has not logged on to the network. The specified
service does not exist.

This is because you are running the install from a folder that the administrator doesn’t have access to. In other words, your standard user account has access to the file, but when the user account is elevated to the Administrator account to do the install, the Administrator account doesn’t have access to that file / folder.

To fix this, either copy the installer to a location that the Administrator has access to (such as C:\Temp\) or give the Administrator account access to the folder / file in it’s current location.
