When trying to download software or data from Quickmap, you may get this error:

The requested service ‘http://downloads.quickmap.co.nz/DataDownloadService/DataDownloadService.svc/http’ could not be activated.

This indicates that either the client doesn’t support the protocol or that there is a problem with the Quickmap server (possibly an issue with the sum check service).

To fix this, if you are using the Quickmap Data Download Manager (QDDM) to download, try installing the latest version of the QDDM. If that doesn’t work, contact Quickmap to check that you are set to download from a protocol that works with your version of QDDM.

If this doesn’t work, the problem may be at the Quickmap server. Contact Quickmap to fix this issue.
