If you are unable to open survey plans in Quickmap and are getting this error:
Windows cannot find
‘C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\PlanImageCache\filename.PNG’.
Make sure your typed the name correctly, and try again.
This might be due to permission problems on your computer or a corrupt user profile. The first thing to check is if the file in the error actually exists. You might also try running Quickmap as an Administrator (right click the Quickmap icon and click “Run as Administrator”).
If that doesn’t work, you could try rebuilding your user profile in Windows. While this might fix issues with other applications also suffering from a corrupt user profile, a simpler and better option could be to enable online survey plans. The advantage of this is that it’s free, you don’t have to maintain the survey plans, it uses no space on your drive and it’s regularly updated (weekly) with additional survey plans.
