After upgrading to Quickmap Version 8 from version 7, you may find that your aerial photos layer is missing. If this is the case, contact Quickmap to get an update to the Aerial Photo installer, and run this.

If you have already run this and still find that your photos are missing from Quickmap, do the following:

1. Close Quickmap if it is open
2. Browse to %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Quickmap\Data\
3. Rename Quickmap.mdb to QuickmapBackup.mdb
4. Start Quickmap

If that doesn’t work, do the following:

1. Close Quickmap if it is open
2. Browse to %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Quickmap\Data\
3. Rename Quickmap.mdb to QuickmapBackup.mdb
4. Copy C:\QMap\Data\QMap.mdb to %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Quickmap\Data\
5. Rename %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Quickmap\Data\QMap.mdb to Quickmap.mdb
6. Start Quickmap

The missing aerial photo layer should now appear.
