When trying to view information associated with a layer in the information pane, Quickmap may give this error:

Cannot retrieve layer X. Only Y layers could be found.

Additional Information: Invalid layer requested (get) in QmLayers
object.

This happens if you are trying to view information about a layer that cannot be found. Typically this is because the layer is deleted. Try to re-select the layer, and try again.
