While Microsoft’s best practice might suggest that it’s best not to install any other software on a Domain Controller, both Quickmap and Quickmap Data Download Manager can be installed on a Domain Controller. It’s also possible to install Quickmap Data Download Manager without installing Quickmap if you are trying to reduce the amount of additional software on your Domain Controller.
