By default, user data is stored in each users’ Documents folder (traditionally called “My Documents”). This is so it can roam with the user if they are set up to do so (which is particularly useful for Terminal Server users and hot-desk users). Specifically, the user databases are stored in Documents\Quickmap (%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Quickmap\). However, some users may wish to have their user databases stored elsewhere.

To change the location of the user databases, change the following registry key to point to the new location:
