When running QDownloader.exe or QInstaller.exe, you may experience this error:

Persistent transient error. The operation timed out.

This can occur if the network connection to http://downloads.quickmap.co.nz/URLDownloadHost/downloads/ has timed out. Possible causes are:

• Either your PC has lost Internet access, your internet speed is very slow, or Custom Software Limited has taken the download server offline for System Maintenance. To fix this problem, try the download again later.
• The downloader has been blocked by your firewall or router. Check the windows protocol BITS is not being blocked, or contact Custom Software Limited for instructions on how to install Data Download Manager, which uses the WCF protocol for the download.
