When Adding a Feature, selecting the Bearing/Distance button will pop up the following form:
The Bearing/Distance form enables you to specify the position of a new point that you add into QuickMap based on the bearing and distance from a previous point. The form can be used to add subsequent point features, new points on lines, or new points on polygons. Prior to selecting the Bearing/Dist button you must have already added an initial start point of the feature that you are adding. The bearing is added in degrees, minutes and seconds and the distance is added in meters (ground distance).

To add dimensions to the feature that you have just added choose the Edit Line button from the symbolology form and tick the appropriate box in the following form:
