Edit Point allows you to define a symbol for a point, along with its size, colour and visibility.
An icon can be selected from the list - Click on the Use Icon Radio Button and click on "Pick Icon". When using an Icon for a point feature, the label option is not available.
It is possible to add customised icons to the list by copying an image and pasting it into the Bitmap folder within the QMap/Data Directory. (Most common image formats are possible - including .bmp and .gif).
Or select a symbol by clicking on the "Pick Symbol" button. Points will be visible provided the check box is ticked.
This will enable a symbol from a particular font to be selected and the colour and size of the symbol changed. Symbols can also be aligned.
