The QuickMap Survey Plan dataset contains pre LandOnLine series Survey Plans.

Hardware  Installation

Log onto your computer as an Administrator; connect the External USB Hard Disk drive to your power supply, and a USB port on your computer. Your computer should automatically recognise the USB Hard Drive, and associate a drive letter for it. If you are running an older computer that does not automatically recognise the drive, then a driver disk has been included. Consult with your Systems Administrator or Computer Support person if you are not sure how to install drivers or add external hardware to a PC.

Software Installation

To Install the Survey Plans, run setup.exe off the USB Hard Drive, and answer yes to the questions when asked.

Note that setup does not copy any files, but simply updates your registry with the location of the Survey Plans.

If you have purchased more than one Survey Plan License, and wish to access the Survey Plans through your network, then

Create a network share for the USB Hard Disk drive called SurveyPlans. The other option is to copy the entire USB Hard Disk into a shared folder on your server called SurveyPlans using File Explorer or a similar program. To Copy the files, you will require 280Gb for the North Island, 120Gb for the South Island, or 400Gb for NZ on your server.
Map the server network drive SurveyPlans on your client PC.
Run Setup.exe from SurveyPlans folder on the server, and answer yes to the questions when asked.

The Survey plans should now be installed, and a Survey Plan button should appear on the toolbar when you run QuickMap.

SurveyPlans

If you do not see a Plans button on your toolbar, then check you have re-registered your PC using the registration key printed on the outside of the USB Hard Disk drive, and that you are running QuickMap version 6.3.98 or better.
