When trying to download Quickmap or Quickmap data using QSetup or QDownloader, you may get the following error:

Transient Error, Retrying 3 of 60

Quickmap Data Setup Failed

Download error: The job is not making progress. The server may be misconfigured. Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) will try again later.

(Assuming you don’t have any network connectivity issues) this occurs because your firewall is blocking BITS from downloading the file. If you are using a Palo Alto firewall / router, this error is probably because you have blocked the HTTP Range option, which is required for programs that start, stop / pause downloading then continue later, which part of the functionality of BITS (which is used by Quickmap to download data).
