When trying to update Quickmap data, you may get this error:

Persistent transient error: The job was paused because there
is an active Game Mode recipient that isn’t the job’s owner.
The job will resume once the Game Mode recipient loses
input focus or is closed.

This happens because the install of the data was interrupted by another application that took full screen control, blocking the install. Most likely this is the action of security / antivirus software and can be fixed with an exclusion or adjusting the settings of such software.
