When starting Quickmap, you may get this error:

Could not communicate with the Licensing Service

Unable to contact the Quickmap Licensing Service.
Attempt to try to restart this service?

Usually clicking “Yes” will start the service, but if the service fails to start (or in fact does start, but is not contactable by Quickmap), then you will need to generate a support log to find the error.

Within the support log, you may find this error that is preventing the Licensing Service from communicating with Quickmap:

• HTTP could not register URL http://+:80/QLicensingService/ because TCP port 80 is being used by another application.
