If Quickmap is stuck on the splash screen and won’t load, this is probably because you have run up more than one instance of quickmap. Close Quickmap and ensure you run only one copy of Quickmap.
This issue might also be accompanied by the Cannot save messages to Log file error, which could be a pop-under (the error message will be beneath the Quickmap program so you can’t see it, until you select it from the task bar at the bottom of the screen). In fact, if you click Ignore on the error message, you will then be able to load another instance of Quickmap, or close the extra instance of Quickmap.
