NOTE:  the cursor must be positioned over the Map to activate these keys

 

FEATURE TYPE

P        Change current feature type to a point. Same as clicking the point option on the form.

N        Change current feature type to a line. Same as clicking the Line option on the form.

G        Change current feature type to a polygon. Same as clicking the Polygon option on the form.

EDIT TYPE

A        Change edit function to Add Point. Same as clicking the Add Point option on the form.

M        Change edit function to Move Point. Same as clicking the Move Point option on the form.

I        Change edit function to Insert Point. Same as clicking the Insert Point option on the form.

D        Change edit function to Delete Point. Same as clicking the Delete Point option on the form. 

DISPLAY AND SAVE OPTIONS

WTurns display of the edit construction lines on/off. Same as clicking the Show Construction Lines checkbox on the form.
ETurns saving of attribute data when saving feature on/off. Same as clicking the Edit Text/Attributes when saving checkbox on the form.

LATCH/SNAP OPTIONS

H        Turn latching/snapping on/off. Same as clicking the Latch checkbox on the form.

LToggle latching/snapping to line on/off.   If checked then latching will occur on any part of the feature. If unchecked then latching will only occur at a node point (start or end point or bend). Same as clicking the Latch to Line checkbox on the form.                

GENERAL

S        Save the editing (display attribute editor if Edit text/Attributes when saving option is checked)

Esc        Cancel editing and close form
