When trying to download Quickmap data, such as Building Outlines, Schools or Placenames, you may get this error:

Unable to open this Internet site. The requested site is
either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try
again later.

This happens because it’s been blocked by your antivirus program.

While this is not a virus (sometimes certain antivirus providers occasionally perform a “false positive” check. Another cause is security settings being set too aggressively which stops certain types of downloads from the internet), please contact Quickmap so they can investigate before proceeding.
